My V4 RA V Limited
Hiya guys,
Been a while since I've been on here, been a few developments since then! Last time I was here I had my bug eye (I know I know but I loved it at the time, and I think it was a nice looking car, and that's what counts).
After that I had a V2 RA, a stunning car, that unfortunately was written off when I had a blackout at the wheel in March 2007.
I had a year off driving (at my doctor's request) then messed about with a couple of different vehicles, nothing worth mentioning, until last September I picked up my V4 RA. Anyway, here they are:
My WRX bug eye, loved it to bits.
My V2 V Limited, stunning to drive. RIP
And my current pride and joy, a V4 WRX STi Type RA V Limited, build number 018/555.
As far as mods go she's a bit of a sleeper, looking near enough standard. I still don't know the full spec, finding out more and more as I go along.
She has a high flow panel filter, with the original resonator box etc replaced by a cold air feed from below the indicator mesh, and a few other bits and peices. A custom stainless system with heat wrapped headers (again custom so my mechanic tells me) with HKS backbox completes the engine mods.
She also has a set of Cusco fully adjustable coilovers, and all the bushes are being replaced this week with Super Pro composite items. She's also having a full geometry set up, and having the coilovers refurbed at the same time.
Also, the wheels are the ones off the V2 (I rescued them before it was written off) and the splitter is gone, not sure whether to replace it or not. Also added are blue mudflaps. More pics to come once she's out of the garage.
Hope you like her guys, I love her.

Thanks for the kind replies guys,
I really liked the fact that it didn't have the V4 bumper, the one thing I don't like is the square fog holes and covers.
Like I said the wheels on it at the moment are the anthracite alloys off the V2.
That does look dated now, but would have been a real classic had I still got it, the autographed seats etc would have really been a nice feature now. Plus the closed deck block was worth more than the car in the end!!!
Also, one thing I've noticed, is that a lot of Impreza imports of that era (97-98) have very similar number plates, R*** HBA. Seen a couple of 22Bs and a number of Type Rs with that plate.
Glad you like it!
