Thanks for the comments guys.

A few answers then....

Catflap - It's amazing I can get in it, especially considering I'm 6'4" tall. It's all done by trick photography...

Nikko, Nick, I've had the camera for a while and can post up the bigger pictures if needed. It was just that I thought I'd post up the thumbnails so that they all fit on one page.

Mattski, at the airfix comment. I was expecting a few more Halfords shop window comments though.

Anyway, here are the bigger pictures then

Hi Jen,
Sorry I got confused about the wheels.... They are Oz Super T's and are an absolute pain in the rear to keep clean. I spent 4 hours the other week cleaning the wheels!! What a sad person I really am

As for going for a ride, are you going to the Big One meet on 7th April in Nottingham. I'm going along with the Evo so if you spot me then you're welcome to come out for a little run around .

Cool! Currently trying to pursade the other half to let me/come with me to Nottingham...not sure his entirely convinced yet - but I think it's something that can't be missed!

I know what you mean about the wheels - we've got the Radius R3's which are also 15 spokes...I did them last night - it's a nightmare!! ...worth it when they look all shiney though

Adam,
Problem is that there ain't much you can do to them from an outside appearance point of view to change that. Unless I start taking bits off..... like the rear wing and the stick on arches etc and turn it into a stealth Evo

Anyway, I didn't buy it for the looks (surprise surprise ) as even I'll agree that it's not exactly the nicest looking car ever.
I may even agree that there are better cars out there but that would probably be too much for some people on here to take

Jen, you need an other half like mine. We have to fight over who gets to drive the car and we both love going to as many meets as possible.

It'd be better if the rear guards didn't look as though they weren't stuck on with sticky tape.

Osama,
Not up for sale at the moment as unfortunately we still get far too much enjoyment out of it. However, if it ever does become available then I'll let you know.

Andy, I actually think the evo is a far better looking car than every impreza incarnation (bar one ), its just a shame that they vary so little. I suppose this is less of a problem since you dont even see one very often. Its just if you surround yourself by the jap rockets like we do, they become common place, only because we notice every one.

Cool

I don't know about not being able to do much to the outside of an EVO 6. I think these look quite good.

Steve,
I've seen them before and I wasn't too keen on them. A bit too Max Powerish even for an Evo

This is another option but the carbon fibre bonnet is v. pricey...

I wouldn't mind the running gear from this Evo though as its done a 10.97 secs @ 125.69 MPH 1/4 mile and has 433 bhp at the wheels

Andy
