Need some new cap Stickers though Rota caps are really easy to modify, I have a few sets depending on the mood

Revolution Performance Motorstore

Under wheel accessories the the Gold STi ones...53's are custom and the bottom red STi's are just ebay jobs

Stick a pen through the back of the cap (theres a hole) and the rota sticker pops off easy enough. Clean off the tack and apply new sticker simples

Lose the rubber on the left of the bonnet if you haven't already, get some more air to that Apexi

Aye nor me but that's more to do with the thicker ally rad. Yup have simtek but I remember reading you can get mafless on ESL these days. Simtek is good...eventually ! but still run NF to cover the lack of Knock control.

couldnt get the esl on mine either

mine ran an hks fcon piggyback when i bought it, and in the origional ecu where the esl board is mean to go was already a chip soldered in? think it was part of the hks set-up

thats what caught me out and so just went for the apexi unit-not that im comnplaing, i like it, amd unlikely to get near, never mind past 350bhp from my set up tbh

i want an alloy rad and the zero sport panel to try aid in cooling a touch seen as the 2nd fan is away

320/320 is a nice place to be gear box wise and although my clutch is slipping now it has lasted ok. Got an Exedy clutch and lightweight flywheel to put on next. Ally rads are fairly cheap, I have an ebay one which looked good in the listing and when arrived was really nice and fitted tidy. Zero Sports thermostats work very well opening at 71dg rather than factory 78dg, so do the rad covers.

that would be ideal power wise

getting my avcr fitted and set up next week so should hopefully make near those figures @ 1.2 bar-ish

i got a stupidly geared ra box, so come summer its getting a longer fifth put in with new, clutch/flywheel.

didnt know that about the zerosprts thermostats, think ill pop 1 in aswell

you thought about oil cooling, was on my list of to dos next year aswell - no need?

would like some longevity out my engine, its the early non forged sti version.

No oil cooling on mine but doesn't mean it's not worth doing.

If you get hold of a later MAP (not MAF) sensor from a '99 STi you can run more boost than that to aid the mid range. I run 1.4 cutting at 1.5. The other consideration is getting hold of some cheap 440 injectors as the 380's in there atm will run @ near 100% c.300.

Short boxes are good, mine runs c2.5k revs @50mph and over 4k c.80mph.

Have a look in my snet garage

Plenty in there to put on your shopping list.lol

ive got 440s in just now, cold plugs and walbro,

the avcr kit has a map sensor that runs higher, part of the reason i bought it, will prob stick at 1.3 bar max tho

think i will go down oil cooling

thats same as mine mate, 80mph sees just over 4k rpm

ill have a wee look in your garage mate, cheers mate

will get it on a dyno after its been mapped again and see what its at, be nice to put a figure gainst how it feels, fisrt car ive had with a decent power output.

Looking good

I like the idea of the caps, I have a couple of different styles of Rota Caps.

cherrs

never thought of that tbh g7prs

however the standard maf should be ok - or u reckon it would be worthwhile mod at my power levels?
