Very nice. Was not sure what they would look like in white, but they really set the car off.
what you need now is a nice set of big red calipers, something like this maybe?

Rob,
have to say that they look great in white, you got that done quick!!
I was hoping you'd post something soon so I could see what they looked like. As mentioned here are the replacements on mine. What do you think?

Personally I don't like white wheels,
but I do think they only look good on Red cars.
So i am not surprised it looks good on your car.
I nearly bought a Red evo4 which had white wheels and they suited the car.

Rob,
Scaramanga = Simon
Tis I. The wheels are 18" and I love them. Must admit that white 17" MY01 wheels look pretty dammn cool though. You running lowered springs on that thing?
Pleased that the delivery finally got sorted out.
Cheers,
Simon

Rob, I've been meaning to say this for a while - Colour code the door handles - they need it
Otherwise white wheels look crap Seriously white wheels are a bugger to keep clean...
See... New owner of the wheels has painted them anthracite I believe
- jon

Hmmmmmm
White wheels sound OK, like Matt Neale's car he had when in the BTCC, but not sure after a a week up and down the dirty motorways. Still, my Scoob is also a 93 WRX in the same (flame) red, but I bought it with 17" gold Speedlines on already, which I prefer to standard alloys, but they get dirty too (and match the rest of the grime on the car) Everyone to their own, you likes what you likes, so stick to your guns (or wheels)
Matthew
EDITED FOR PS
luv the spoiler, sets its off better than my MY99 one

Avi,
That's it!! That's what I was thinking of.
I knew I'd seen the red and white combo somewhere, the Fast and the Furious Honda Integra!
Thank God, that would have driven me mad.
Looks
Cheers
Rich

Im not looking foreward to keeping them clean to be honest, but sod it, I will see how it goes. It only cost me £20 in materials to do them, so I could always change them back to silver (not that I want to)
The splitter costs £130 primed, or £199 colour coded M8.
Cheers, Rob.

Catflap.
I rubbed the surface down a little using 600 wet+dry, masked the tyres and valves, and primed them using 3 coats of a cellulose primer from a spray gun. The white paint was actualy SIMONZ WHEEL WHITE, comes in 500ml cans. 1 can would manage to give 1 coat all 4 wheels. I applied 2 coats, with half an hour between.
I cant say how well it will last, as Ive never done any before this, but the top coat seems to be some kind of enamel, should be pretty hard wearing.
Hope this helps,
Rob.

You will have to touchup the paint on the wheels when you have your tyres replaced. You have painted over the balancing weights. For a quality finish you really should get them painted before putting the tyres on them.

Probably no more difficult than doing them white. Just key the surface again and give them a couple of decent coats of primer.
