Interesting Avi 
The end was a bit disappointing you could not make out a person from that height but that is probably just a sample because I heard that a satellite can pin-point something as small as a tin can from space

It is extremely difficult to get good clear pictures from long distances... Especially from Geostationary satellites between 30,000 and 35,000 km from earth. It is a moving body, and if you have ever used a long zoom lens on your own camera, you know that when you zoom in, the image wobbles / distorts. Same goes here. The technology does however exist, and is very good... That is about all you need to know though
