Markus,
Putting the brakes on without the wheels is just silly!
Have you managed to source some wheels large enough to cope with these things yet?
Just think how many people will be upset when you do...

Scott and others,
the existing (MY01) wheels do go over them, how? well, don't tell anyone, but I've commited the cardinal sin of using spacers! Yes, I know what people have said, but what the hell, I'll give it a go and see what happens.
Don't seem to have effected the hadling any, but it's early days yet, but I've been for a drive and it still handles great, plus the movit calipers, big as they may be are a hell of a lot lighter than the old 2-pots, would say the movits are half if not three quarters of the weight of the 2-pots, which should help reduce strain on the suspension. The discs are slightly heavier than the old ones, but I think that the new setup is still lighter than the old one.
Discs are, well, I think, 322 x 32mm so not really huge, but big enough for me. (though they were 360mm, but think I'm wrong)
Clearance problems? have a look here:
nice bit of clearance between rear of caliper and rim of wheel. Plus clearance between caliper and spokes of wheels is pretty good, put it this way, there's more clearance than on the STi Type UK.
Suffice to say I'm very happy.
Big thanks to Geoff for fitting them, and Richard for selling them to me.

Scott.T,
Yes they were brand new. They are not cheap, cost 1500 + vat (£1762.50) but are worth every penny. Cost is I guess on a par with AP 6-pot setup.
Kit comprises of:
Porsche GT3 MONOBLOCK caliper.
Porsche 993 bi-turbo rotors, 322 x 32 mm vented and cast-in holes
Porsche GT3 genuine pad set for street use.
Custom adapters for a.m. callipers, CNC machined from highest grade steel alloy customer brake bells for a.m. rotors, CNC machined from highest grade aluminium alloy custom stainless steel coated PTFE lines for front & rear
You can get a cheaper kit which comprises of:
Porsche 996 Carrera 4-piston-aluminium MONOBLOCK callipers,
Porsche 993 bi-turbo rotors, 322 x 32 mm vented and cast-in holes
Porsche 996 Carrera genuine pad set for street use
Custom adapters for a.m. callipers, CNC machined from highest grade steel alloy customer brake bells for a.m. rotors, CNC machined from highest grade aluminium alloy custom stainless steel coated PTFE lines for front & rear
Price: complete kit including all needed parts £1260 +vat (£1480.50)
That is kind of on a par with AP 4-pot kitsm I think.
worth every single penny though.

Markus,
Glad to see that after all the wrangling you've got them on the car, but if there is so much clearance between the wheel and caliper spokes, could you not have reduced the size of the spacer a bit?

That is true, and something I may look into. Basically Geoff Jeal did all the measurements to work out clearances etc and 15mm was the figure he came up with and was happy with and I trust his measuring skills.
As said, I might look into this at some point, to see how much of a reduction might be possible.
The other thing I will be looking into is getting together an application chart, basically a list of wheels that will and won't fit over the calipers, both with and without a spacer. this should help out possible purchasers of the kit as they can find out if their existing wheels will fit, and if not, would they need a spacer, or if they don't like that idea what wheels would fit without spacers.
Personally I think I'll start off with wheels that don't need a spacer.
