I believe so, i've had stick on plates on my last two cars (on splitter) and as long as they are standard font/spacing and are mounted so they are visable ie not bent over the curve of a bumper etc then it should be fine. Mine got through about 3/4 MOTs like that.

nice mate but be careful. was on my bike once an got issued a fine for small plate an said if pulled again the v5 gets taken away an gotta re register it an its whether dvla accept. so watch u dont bump into 1 in a bad mood

No need to post a picture, I must be the only one running the standard (legal) numberplate on here all those square ones are illegal on scoobs so be warned and I believe the stickers are also illegal now

a standard size square one on the front not legal ??

are you sure thats right bud ?

i've never had any issues up to now but its good to know.

thats what i was thinking had a mot on mine a couple of weeks ago and was fine.

perhaps refering to the smaller size ones rather than just square.

Mine also came with a square one, no issues bar it looking horrible.

Is it not accurate that import cars are allowed a slightly smaller plat on the front?

Never had any problems with my plate....



The local bobbys seem more concerned with the lack of headlights......!!!

Used to have mine here.....



.... but a policeman advised me to get a stick-on plate and put it on the bonnet, so have now got this one.....

I believe that square number plates are illegal, unless on an import - they are exempt.
