still a way to go with that one, i'm trying to get scaled down the Gobstopper graphics to build a look-a-like, plus its on a seperate chassis now with black wheels.....
Will i run them......maybe...though its just nice to have static models of a classic in such a big scale....
its all good fun

Lovely R/c's guys.....what engines do you run in them?
I've got a highly tuned and modified version of the Thunder Tiger TS4N Sport with a lovely HPI Subaru "Hawkeye" Impreza body shell with a custom paint job by myself.
I'd love to post up some pic's of mine but I don't know how to get them from my PC to on to here. Any ideas?
Mine has a Pro .15 BXS pull start engine, ported manifold, uprated Sabattini exhaust, every aluminium & carbon fibre part available, Topcad "Real" Alloy wheels (direct from Japan) and lot's more.
Loving the classic body shells guy's

Mine are both TGX based chassis released back in early 2001 and long discontinued, so its a case of buy it when you see it regardless of need, though the chassis are available via e-bay and most need a little tlc, then the 'classic' shells are still available for only £22 delivered which is an absolute steal....
Not run either of mine yet as I wanted to get the cometics sorted, the WRC is finished, the white version is still in progress.
Cost new when available around £300 for the total package
They do 50mph apparently......in std form, nitro pull start........
Maintenance is dependant on use & quality of use i guess lol

You can buy a nitro powered R/c car for around the £150-£200 as a RTR kit (RTR= Ready To Run) at the beginners end of the market.
You need to buy fuel but that's not expensive. As far as maintainence goes you need to clean them after every use really just to keep it from getting gunked up from the exhaust residue, occasionally clean the air filter but definately do this if it's been used in a dusty environment. Basically just like a real car except there's no oil to check and the fuels not a rip off

just a quick note very nearly connected to the thread.....
The glow fuel i used to use in my old 2-stroke Kawasaki triple back in the late 70's, added a litre to a tank full of gas, jeeeeeeeeez it used to smell awesome and reduce the oil build up in the silencers.
Draw back was burning the edge of pistons quite frequently, a plus was more speed for some odd reason.....
