Default Introducing Phatrex - NZ

Hi all, and greetings from Wellington, New Zealand. Originally from Cornwall I escaped down here about 8 years ago. Loving the life - and loving the lack of restrictions on modding our cars! 85% of the cars on the road here are ex-JDM - which makes for a great street scene!

Here's a couple of photos of mine for you. Currently 210KW at the wheels, which is about 350bhp at the fly wheel in the old money. It's a 1996 Version 2, had it for 6 years and done plenty to it....

Cheers, Steve

She's a V2 JDM STi. Running a TD05H, 3 inch exhaust from the turbo, Siamese at the front (no cats here!), 440cc V4 injectors on split fuel rails with increased pressure (adjustable), uprated Walbro fuel pump, FMIC, all controlled by a PossumLink ECU - which is why there's no AFM! Running 18lbs of boost, controlled by a Greddy Profec B EBC. Still gives me 190+ KW at 12 lbs of boost, and I can still get 30 mpg out of her. A lot less at full noise....

Lol! Now you mention it, there's been a couple of car shows in the "caketin" carpark. Shows included a jet car at full noise up the main quay in town - awesome sight and sound!!

The good thing about Wellington is that the hills around us are infamous for boostin! Who needs carparks when we've got several "special stages" on our doorstep!!

Hello fella and welcome.

Loving the look of the car, looks agressive. Down to personal choice I'm not a fan of the Lexus lights but everything else is sweet
