So, there was a thread ages ago title, 'Chocolate o Brian does it again...... this basically showed the handy work of Andy (COB) ,As soon as i saw the piece he had done, i knew i wanted him to draw my car..... so i contacted him and added my name to his long list..... little did i know i would wait 'quite' so long...!!
The pictures i sent thim were these two...
Along with a basic sketch type things of how i wanted it laid out, i wasn't too bothered about the overall cost, as i wanted the piece right, rather than cheap.... although for the hours that have gone into it, trust me, it's still stupidly cheap!!
Andy finally got round to starting it, and sent me progress pictures along the way, i have 39 pictures, but i won;t post all of them...... i am delighted with it now it's arrived, it's on A2 grainy cartridge paper, so very firm, and not bendy......
Enjoy.
So, many thanks to Andy for yet another masterpiece..... like i say, it took a long time, but was worth the wait, it's almost a shame that just a few weeks ago i decided to sell the car, which i have now done, the new owner will take the car away on tuesday, oddly the picture arrived the day before the new V5 with it's new number, meaning that he'll now be able to tax the car when he collects it.....
I hope you enjoyed the pictres, it'll hang in pride of place alongside the colage of pictures of my old Mini, i thought about getting Andy to draw that aswell, but i think i'd be retired before i got it...LOL!!!

I don't know what to say, but Andy's work is truly astonishing and exquisite.
What a fabulous piece of art work to remember the old girl which I bet will be pride of place somewhere in your home.
Andy, this is your calling to be a commercial artist...go for it.
