Default Fat and Slow

Updates further down

This is how my GX started:

So far it's had new 18" wheels, Ninja 2 back box, straight-through center pipe, mesh fog covers and today I fitted the front splitter and rear corners from HTAutos. Excellent quality products guys, many thanks!

I knew I wanted the splitter black but wasn't sure if I wanted the rears black or colour coded, so since I could get black from B&Q up the road they went black, and I think they look alright with the black splitter and skirts...

And this is how it looks today: (and yes, I'm well aware it needs washing :[)

Cheers guys.

It is indeed riding high at the moment, I need to enquire with Mr Flux as to how much further he wants to insert his insurance rod up my backside before it drops though.

Right, a few little changes...

Arches mangled (rolled and flared), wheels fitted (8.5j front, 9.5j rear, 25mm adapters all round), spoilerless boot painted and fitted, and yes, still riding a *tad* high...

I'll get some more later to show just how wide the wheels actually are (the arches are flared out about an inch and the wheels still clear them by about another inch ;])

And yes, they've been on 3 days now, and yes, I've already managed to curb 2 of them. Gutted.com.

Cheers guys.

Yep, dropping is deffinately on the cards, just a matter of time and money really.

Leaving Pod on Sunday night after Fast Show Bockett, SatNav took me the Kettering way to the M1, T junction with a mini roundabout in it, Morrette/candle in jar fail, curb sticking out, bang bang, front and rear passenger wheels :[

But hey ho...

Few more pics:

As it stood at Fast Show (if you were there and camped you'll understand why it looked like this!):

From the front:

From the back:

Haha, you should've seen the state of other people's cars, baring in mind I've got mudflaps and had the AWD system so I could slowly crawl off the field without having to rev the nuts off it!

We should organise a meet sometime with the other wide boys and get some pictures of us all, think the next big show for me will be PTM back at Pod, May 9th.

9.5j and 8.5j wheels + 25mm spacer/adapter + arch rolling tool + complete tool (me) + 'I wonder what this'll look like...' = epic arch flare ;]

And yes, great colour
