Mrs Drumsterphil's RB5
Hi,
This is my wife's RB5 - it's been a long time in the making and she's had to persevere with problem after problem long after most people would have given up to get to this stage -
The engine (all-steel 2.5, MD321T, 6-speed, Simtek ECU with ALS/LC etc) -
Interior -
Full retrim by Recaro to match CS front seats -
even a matching fire extinguisher! -
Hope you like

Cheers
The seats are Recaro CS's - as fitted to the Audi RS4 and new Focus RS - trimmed to match the original RB5 interior. Not cheap but well worth it.
Norm - the car hasn't been at ASP for ages, all work is now done by a guy called Andy Kindon who's looked after it for the last 18 months. He's thoroughly sorted the car, does all the mechanical work and also built the new engine - which was completed 2 weeks ago - won't have anybody else work on the car.
As for power, we'll find out once it's run in and Bob Rawle comes back to map it. It ran 441bhp with completely knackered pistons so now it's been properly re-built should do comfortably more.............

Mark, we looked long and hard for a pink fire extinguisher but no joy so she settled for a blue one lol but if anyone knows where can be acquired ??????
Cars running amazing considering it has no boost - so smooth and the 6 speed is stunning. MrsD is well happy and thats all that counts

Totally stunning looking Rb5, these are one of my favorite subaru's, very tastefully modded too.

Phil you don't do things by half do you ! that's quality
If I can make one suggestion.... where the front mount pipe passes the battery terminal it may pay to be safe and cut open a short section of Samco to sheath the pipe, we don't want to be making a positive contact.
