i've just always fancied one. the main issues are that there are some small dents at the front of the bonnet which cant be removed due to that part being double skinned and i dont really want them filled and painted. also when driving at silly speeds the bonnet looks like its gonna come off the car it wobbles that much. im not just looking for an excuse to part with my cash honest

I'm on board with the reverse scoop, but think that the extra vents are a bit over the top

Not my thing really . I somehow think a Scooby loses its 'Scoobyness' once the scoop has been removed. Looks the dogs danglies as it is.........

If you want to donate the MK1 XR2 in the background I would be more than happy to take it off your hands

They don't, they do the opposite and let heat out (which has been forced through where the FMIC is)

Depends whether you're running a FMIC or a TMIC. FMIC would benefit from reverse scoop but a TMIC needs the normal scoop to force the air through it. I have a FMIC however I have left the normal scoop on cos IMHO I think it looks better

think its more for people like myself who dont run top mount intercoolers anymore. seems to be more of just a vent rather than a cool air feed.

Can see your running a front mount in your pic, so the new bonnet will make that slightly more efficient as air will pass through with less resistance
