Default Anyone Sprayed their FMIC?

Been thinking of spraying my FMIC as im adding some more style to the front of my scoob. Anybody got this done? Any advise on what paint to use and tips on how to please!? Pics would be great!!

I saw one at trax with the jap rising sun on it. i'll see if i can dig a photo out

Had mine done in Satin black, a friend who owns a bodyshop done it.

Not sure, probably what ever he had lying about..

A friend of mine went the same route and used rattle cans.

My APS was painted in matte gunmetal...

I Like that... Im twisted between gunmetal and black. Wheels are GM but I think black would look more menacing... So will any metal spray do? Just misting it with a few coats to cover?

I like black coolers but black colers look dirty very soon. It would of been exagerated even more on a black car. Not to mention showing stonechips quite badly too.

i sprayed mine black, used a etch primer, then a satin black spray. was on for a few months, then the stone chips stared to come think and fast. it soons looks taty

will go for black mesh next

Thats an idea, black plastic mesh would look good.
Something like this:
High Quality Plastic Race mesh black 900 mm x 450 mm on eBay, also Grilles, Meshes Vents, Exterior Styling, Car Tuning Styling, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 18-Feb-09 10:58:12 GMT)
