Cool Puff's New Frontage...

Not quite finished yet but...

Used to look like this

Obviously needed to get it matched to the rest of the bodywork & as the time came around to u/grade the RA enginewise, thought I would try something a bit different

Hybrid FMIC fitted (thanks Harvey) & the addition of a GL bumper to offset the slightly bright vinyl wrap & provide a different aspect to compliment the lack of rear spoiler. Couple of ideas still brewing for the bonnet...

It's not quite finished yet & goes into be purplised/finished on Tuesday

Oh! There might be the addition of a P1 Lip Spoiler (PTMW! revisted?) courtesy of HT Autos P1 Lip Group Buy

Will update soon & will use a proper camera - sorry!

I've seen one of the GL front ends on a white turbo before, it looked wicked, mainly due to the fact you don't see them on the 'sportier' cars well done.

Not sure on the plate - maybe under the indicators one side or on the lip when I put that on. Bonnet would be preferred choice but then would look too cluttered with the other writing...

Saw the car this evening - looking awesome

Bumper is painted not wrapped and the colourmatch is spot on Just got a few things to finish...

Unfortunately my guestimate with the P1 Lip is off - fits on the front but 3 inches hang off the rear It's too nice to chop up so if anyone wants a P1 Lip for their MY99/00 Turbo or Sport, then let me know lol!

Should be finished tomorrow but I may not be able to get it until Friday Pics then

OK - spoke tooooo soon...

Colour match is not spot on & slightly aggravates me. It must have been the light at the time I saw it in the post above but judge for yourselves...

However, I'm overall pleased with the effect. The GL fog light covers had to go as they needed to be cut back because of the fmic pipework. The holes were cut out and you may just be able to make out a black mesh over them.

Not quite such an obvious paint difference in the below pics.

May end up getting the bumper wrapped after all but had hoped the paint would match. Will wait until I get the final plans under way...

Oh, btw, anyone know where I can get a reverse scoop like the below but for 92/96 classic please?

Ta!

Yea in daylight u can see the colour chosen is not correct at all. I would suspect that is a hard colour to match on though.

Looks great and looks like a work in progress.

These GL front ends on Impreza's I think makes them look Skyliner'ish. Please bare with me on this one....
