someone also mentioned different vent smetimes make the sti-7/8 scoops look more in place than when they are on there own..

people with these scoops plus diffo vents post up 2 probs common one are the 22b ones

Good boy Colour match from DR Motorsport is very good can't complain at all. Hardest bit was getting the ver7 sti under bonnet tray to match the scoop to make the most of the ver7 sti intercooler. Bring out the angle grinder

marcus: does the sti-7 undertray need modding to fit a classic bonnet? not a straight fit? take it it doesnt come with the scoop? and youve got to buy seperate?

I mounted mine using the original bolts and existing holes in the bonnet (just offset to match the intercooler position) but the main part that needs changing is the undertray itself. Because the back of the scoop isn't as high as on the newage cars you need to cut down the top part of the undertray which touches the underside of the scoop. The undertrays have to be bought seperatly and are usually about £50ish.

If you need any pics / info I'll be at Performance Car Action Day at Castle Combe on April 25th so you can see for yourself or I could take some pics and email them across.

I much prefer the STi7 style on the classic, the STi8 one looks far too big!
