Default update on my bug

for you that dont know, my car's back from slowboy-racing and had some work done to it. new td05 18g, decat up-pipe, hybrid FMIC, sti pink injectors, uprated fuel pump, simtek ecu with anti-lag and launch control, and managed to fit sti lights too

I got mine of ebay, it's similar to the STi one but narrows at the bottom rather than the top.

need to get it dyno'd still but neil @ slowboy said i was looking around 340bhp... need to get a new clutch and we can up the boost a bit more

nice one mate looking good with some cheeky little upgrades

imo though i would cut the hole out completely where the front mount sits(the bit at the top of the hole)

im on a standard clutch( i think. nothing changed in service history) and im pushing 361/322 with no issues as of yet(6 months) with similar set up.

dont have simtek though with anti lag

Headlights are a massive improvement mate, plus a bet it feels a whole lot quicker too

i've not any issues yet on the standard clutch running 347/343, I dont do many hard launches though but no slipping anywhere else. In fact I regularly light up all four wheels coming out of the odd corner/roundabout

Dude, now youre running a FMIC, lose that god aweful scoop in favour of the stock one. Its not doing anything for your cars looks at all

I was thinkin that, I'll change it back to the original or get a carbon if I have the money. Gettin some carbon brake ducts like the ones cookstar use to have.

I agree with Frayz about the scoop, looks better with the STi lights though!

Thats around what power i was hoping for with a similar set up, be good to see the results after its been rolling roaded.

How much boost you running?

set up on about 1.4 bar atm, i'm happy with the performance... not really had a chance to give it a good thrash yet because of working lates
