De-Stickered today. LOTS AND LOTS of pics!
Last night, me and my friend spend about 3 hours with a hair drier each getting all my stickers off.
Then as it was dark, we couldn't do anymore! So this morning, we made a start at 9am, but as it was/is totally heshing it down with rain, I had to take it up to work so it was under cover. So apologise for the crap setting for my photo's......as its at a crap factory. Again, couldnt take it anywhere as its still raining (the roads are flooding actually).
First we used some Bug/Tar remover to get rid of the stickyness, then some Meguira's polish, then some autoglym high resin polish, then Meguira's Tech Wax. I don't own any cleaning products myself, and these were his cast off's, as he uses something else now he said (other than the resin polish). He forgot his clay bar as well which was a shame, but not to worry we can do that next time.
I've got to say, it removed the 'marks' very well. But on some angles/light you can slightly see the outline of where some of the stickers were. My friend said though if I do the above every couple of week, these marks should eventually polish out.
So here are the pics:

And the end result. Again, sorry for the horrible location/background, but its the only under cover place I could go.

RICKSTER555, yeah under my nails were actually bleeding! Which wasnt good.
Cheers for the replies. I left the rear STI one's on to see if it would look ok or not really. A bit like the front fog covers, as they look good. But I guess the general consensus is remove the rears?

Prefered it with the graphics to be honest, it now looks pretty much like every other blue Subaru, don't get me wrong I do love them and looks like a nice clean example, but its just my personal preference I do like the individual touch some owners are brave enough to do.
as others have said though I agree remove the rear quarter stickers too, as long as your happy with its now new look thats all that matters

Yeah Mick. Thats the only thing, it does look like nearly every other blue blobeye now! I will have to think of something to make it more special.
Thanks for the comments.

Chris, I've literally just got new tyres on them so dont want to get any 18's yet to be honest. But I am going to get them sprayed Anthracite.
Rich, yeah there will be a bit of shadowing to be honest. On mine it is very UN-noticeable though. And my friend assures me if I polish it with Auto Glym high resin polish ever few weeks it will come out. Me and him can see some shadows, but I'd almost guarantee most people wouldn't ever see them. I do want rid out them though as I know they are there still.

Like it both with and without mate, nice car. Did you have much residue left under the stickers?, only asking cos I have some on my bonnet and boot, they were there when I bought the car (view my scooby). How did you get rid of any crap from under them and was the paint dull underneath? cheers mate Aarron.

Aarron, yeah there was some sticky left, but I used auto glym tar and bug remover where the stickers where. This then left the car quite smooth where the stickers were. But there was still an outline/shadow of them. But using some Meguira's polish, then some autoglym high resin polish, then Meguira's Tech Wax got it looking very good.
In some angles you can see the occasional 'sticker' but I've been told that by using the High Resin Polish every week will eventually get this out.
Cheers LondonTownie as well

I have decals on my car and am contemplating getting them taken off. May put it into the bodyshop to remove them as I know how long it takes. Youve done a really good job on them.

Tommy, I'd remove them yourself if I were you. As it isn't hard, just takes time....so would probably quite expensive.
Wiley, I left the one on the rear quarter just to see if it was ok really. As I haven't seen anyone (stupid enough? ) who has the stickers there, so thought it might be a bit different.
