well only say this because my mate has a 93 wrx he went from 16s to 17s and said he much prefered the handling of the 16 inch tyres and after driving his with the 17s i thought the same although feels like its pulling the tyres of the rims harsh cornering on the 16s

ST2s all the way for me mate, I think its a cracking looking wheel, very traditional.
If the 2010's are the 5 spoke, In my opinion they wont do your car justice.
Ive had 16's, 18's and now 17" and I like the feel and give that the 17" delivery.
Each to their own though...... ....Nice car by the way

ST2s are the best looking wheels on a Classic IMHO but 16s are the ones to go for if you want the best all-round handling/ride package. I don't normally like gold wheels but the ST2s would look good in gold on a white car.
The best thing you can do to improve the looks is to return the sill covers to black though. Colour coding really doesn't work on light coloured cars (or dark ones but at least it is less obvious).
In fact, a white car with gold ST2s no rear wing and not colour coded has to be the best combination for a classic !!
