my 97 555
well we got the car on impulse went down to the importers just to waste there time and test drive it for the crack as im only 19 and cant get insurance on it but the gf is 21 so she can bummer.after a quick drive up the bypass i was hooked and wanted it. we payed 6k for her.she came with 35000 on the clock, full tein coilovers, hks green mushroom air filter, compmotive backbox, somekind of aftermarket dump valve,80mm greddy boost gauge think we payed a bit much but we traded in our 57 astra sri with cash to spare for paying the finance off.
anyway this is how she looked when we got her
after a week we had a the wheels refurbed in white to be different.then couple of weeks after that i got the car into my work and put the 555 decals on and a colin mcRae tribute on the windows.
since then the gf bumped the front bumper on the garage door so i bought a facelift front bumper clear indicators for the bumper and wings.a set of dark blue kaylan mudflaps.im still trying to decide wether to put the fogs in the bumper of have the covers. not got any pics of the new front end just now but will get some when its all done.
plans for the future are a better exhaust, uprated brakes all round,a set of toyo proxies, new clutch and fly wheel, front mounted intercooler. since the vynals went on ive been thinking about putting them back to gold.

That's a lot of money for an import but it's a nice example and hopefully the mileage is correct and hasn't lived on a track - how's the interior looking and feeling? Also, like a lot have said, it looked a lot better when you got it but each to their own. It's much better than the Astra

thats what i was thinking but not sue how much the brackets are going to cost to hold them on cause the pre facelift ones are different.need the wedge grilles for under the indicator aswell.thought about meshing it but think it might look to tacky
