I was bidding on a Hasegawa model kit of a classic but lost out by 70p I was gonna build that as a replica of my car.

i had a H plate mk2 lotus cortina, red with gold stripe! would you believe i sold it in 1984 for £400

I nearly bought a red mark 2 with a gold stripe for £3k in 1996 but I bought a sierra 2.9 4x4 instead

I can't believe they were that cheap in the 80's
