It wasn't me mate but I'm certain It would be from our company. Sounds like he a good deal S4 for an A4 cab.. It happens sometimes tho.. I delivered an Rs4 last week to a women who had an S4 - All our S4 were out at the time so she got upgraded..

TBH I'm pretty lucky to have landed the job, I've been in the Industry for 8 years and a family member also works there who's pretty high up.Most of our drivers are Retired Police traffic offers ( The one's in T5's hidden in M/Way slip Rd's ) We only advertise Vacancy's & Recruit from a Police Magazine. I had to do my advanced Driving and get Accessed 4 times a year by a Police Class 1 driver. We got virtually every make and model of prestige/sports car In stock in a fleet of around 6000.
Best part of the Job is we are given personal use of all the cars up to the value of £100k - So unfortunately none of these get to grace my driveway other than the Rs4..

Ok the training must be quite strict, but getting rimmed by a cop 4 times a year is a bit harsh

Does the job pay well to?

Yeah must have been because my mate had a good chat with the guy that dropped him off and he spoke of huge warehouse with tons of pretige cars.

He's a jammy begger my mate Someone did indeed say they had no a4 cabs and offered the S4 to him. We went out for a trip the night he got it, was a nice car.. He had it ages and the bill for the insurance company would have been many thousands (garage took ages to repair his car) going by what the chap told him the hire cost was to the ins comapny

Yeah he would be right - What a lot of people don't realise Is that anyone Involved in a None Fault Accident Is entitled to a like for like car . If you drive a Ferrari and someone hits It, the law states your within your rights to request a replacement Ferrari whilst yours Is off the road being repaired. That's where we come In - The at fault Insurance company has to foot the hire costs - In your mates case the Insurer would just have to pay the A4 cab rate as we can't bill for an S4 as he obviously doesn't own one - So a big Billy Bonus on he's behalf . TBH It's all very complicated and over my head I just deliver and collect them - Suits me..
