Default STI 7/8 Intercooler on my classic.

just a few pics of the intercooler i have had fitted to my 98 classic, i did'nt want to go down the fmic route at this time.






as you can see from the pics some moddification is involved. all the work was done by rob at stella motors.

just need a newage under bonnet scoop now to finish it off.

Hi looks good has it made your car any better thinking of doing this to my 98 classic too . Dose it take much to fit and can i use my dump valve from my car or do you have to fit a new age one Thanks for the photos

i used the dump valve from my old car but they cut the front out my old intercooler and welded it to the new one. was told its a bit of a bugger to fit. have a look at
Carl Davey, specialist Subaru Impreza parts supply
gives you step by step instructions, as for the difference can answer that after sat when i've had it mapped. i'll be running the sti8 intercooler, gt spec stainless headers, full stainless turbo back exhaust, 440 injectors, uprated air filter and a vf29 turbo all with my apexi power fc.

the whole car needs a good clean ! next on my list (have a big long list). i'll post some pics when i've done it.

looks good but that intercooler could do with a polish and engine is stinking needs a good clean

stinking ? personally i don't stick my nose in and smell it ! i know it needs a bit of a clean its on my list.

LOL CAN YOU FIT THE OEM STI STRUT BAR ON WITH THIS FITTED? NOTICED YOURS IS MISSING?

sorryu about caps..

and how much does this cost? is it worth it considering front mounts can be bought cheap? what parts are exactly needed?
