Subaru badge with lights, who was it?
I remember not long ago someone posted pics of their impreza with a front badge that lights up. I think he'd cut the stars out of the logo out and sat a light behind it. I can't find the post, any help?
cheers

umm, yeah recorded would be good mate. I use post office quite alot at work shipping things out, wouldn't have thought it would be more than £2.
Do you know where I can get an ORIGINAL badge, my old one is cracked and the one I have at the moment is one of the stick on blue badges.
Also, when you drilled out the grille to put the leds in, how much did you drill?
Thanks

ok call it £2 then.
I ordered mine directly from Subaru (think is was approx £20). Were you able to find my thread?
Quick how to
Badge Mod:
1. Used the wife's nail varnish remover to removed the black paint from the rear of the standard badge.
2. Used white spirit clean
3. Sprayed Enamel White Gloss paint on the badge
4. Dremeled out the rear of the grill
5. Used the rear of a Black CD Jewel Case (cut to size) and fixed the LED bank to it.
6. Used Strong adhesive to bond the plastic to the rear of the grill
7. Ran wires to my CCFL's (you could simply wire them to your sidelights.
8. Admire

Cool ok mate. I'll find out about the badge tommorow and get back to you.
When you say "Dremeled out the rear of the grill" what exactly do you mean, did you just drill a hole all the way through or cut the entire shape of the badge out of the grille?
Cheers
