**Classic Badge Mod**
Guys
Disclaimer: I know its not everyones cup of tea, (dont shoot me down)
Last week I picked up a replacement badge for my car and thought I'd mod it up a little
Before
New badge stripped down
All painted & fitted
Special touch
What do you think?

Badge Mod:
1. Used the wife's nail varnish remover to removed the black paint from the rear of the standard badge.
2. Used white spirit clean
3. Sprayed Enamel White Gloss paint on the badge
4. Dremeled out the rear of the grill
5. Used the rear of a Black CD Jewel Case (cut to size) and fixed the LED bank to it.
6. Used Strong adhesive to bond the plastic to the rear of the grill
7. Ran wires to my CCFL's (you could simply wire them to your sidelights.
8. Admire
Next....
Light up the rear numberplate on the scooby
PM if anyone wants a bank of leds, will be at Mcrae Gathering

CCFL's came from the manufacturer, cant fault them one bit.
The only thing I would do, would be to open the headlights once again (when I have time) and spray them satin black. Rather than High temp black paint.

It was more directed at its positioning as opposed to it being a badge. i wasnt sure on the legality of having a light in the middle.
Im assuming by your response that as long as the light is Amber or White then it doesnt matter what you do to the front of the car?
