My name is Jamie im 20 from North Somercotes, Lincolnshire

After driving my dads wrx sti ra i have always wanted one, i have looked around for a while trying to get a cheapy so i could spend the rest on insurance and a few bits to tidy it up, i came across this 1.6 and i just had to have it, 2 days later its in my drive and im a very happy chappie.

Heres a few things its had done to it;

C West front bumper

Cheers for comments

Power isn't to bad actually for a 1.6 compared to my clio williams or 306 gti-6 i haven't thrashed it but its just a cruise-mobile for me atm.

Not sure which grille it is mate

Thanks for great comments falla's

I went out last night and took a few pics just to show everybody what it looks like now, and then will take some later to show what she looks like after ive done abit of work on her.

The dints on the drivers side are the only ones on the car, im ordering a new wing today and will get the dint on the door sorted soon.

Also its going for a respray as soon as im happy with every thing, it won't take me long to have it all mint, im looking for everyones comments on what colour i should go for and maybe post a pic and a colour code.

Last nights pics!!

Things to do today are;

Get my other front bumper ready to be put on the car, get it smoothed and make it solid so it doesn't flex to much.

i've heard a slight leak in the exhaust so thats going to be welded up also get some new exhaust rubbers so shes sat tight because i think its come off 1 or 2.

One of the previous owners has very poorly tryed to cover the door cards in velvet, there coming off and replace them with standard sti door cards.

Most of the body panels are from a different scoob and havent been bolted down the best they could be, so i will go around and make sure they fit the body and match up to the other panels perfectly.

Im sure there will be a few other little bits i need to do and will keep you all posted on my progress

cheers

Would of kept the ***** mate though they must of been something wrong with it if you don't notice the power difference much. Looks nice mate but what is going on with the bonnet do you need to adjust the stops or is it because of the facelift grille?

Should look really nice when its all done and finished - being 20 though, it must cost a load extra on the insurance with all the mods and paying for the respray ?, wouldnt it work out cheaper to get a non modded turbo, rather than what will always just be a lookalike ( and will probably please loads of buy racers if they try and race you in their 1.6 or 1.8 shopping trolleys ! )

yea North Somercotes is right on the coast in between Grimsby and Skeg

I do still have the williams and i was comparing the power diffences obviosly its not got the same power but is ok for a 1.6.

im doing all the body work myself and the respray. im not really bothered about the boyracers anymore ive done all that ie Williams clio and 306 gti6 i just want to cruise along in the scoob

cheers for the comments

Hello fella. From Scunny myself, so not too far away.

Car looks , but i would take the 'SCOOBY' off the bootlid and change the horrible rear lexus style lights. Besides that, keep it red.... this was my old classic which I had to sell for fiancial reasons in June.

www.Humberjapcars.co.uk have a meet every Thurdsay at The Ketch in Hull. Although in a Pug 205 Gti now, I still go, friendly crownd and some of the guys are members on here too. Get yourself across dude...

Aye, she was my baby, and resides now in Grantham with her new owner. Was gutted, but legal issues forced a cheap sale

205 is fun to drive though. Pop along, and register on the site. We're a friendly bunch.

Took the front bumper off today, replaced it with another i bought a couple months back.

welded the exhaust up, its amazing how much noise you lose out the back when its blowing.

Took the prodrive spoiler off and gonna stick it on my dads scoob to go with all his other prodrive goodies, got another custom made spoiler which looks nice, going to fit that tomoro.

heres a few pics of her today.

Thanks for looking
