Cool V11 STI seats in a classic.

I have just recently bought these, I was told they should go in so I was a little nervous, but heh ho. so I put them in and to my shock they sat in perfectly apart from one hole, so a bracket was made from some nice think steel and sprayed today. I have the full interior as they came from cars being produced by prodrive for rally cars next year, so the seats havent even been sat in will be having a go at the rears in the near future as they are not a lot different from the wagon rears anyway.

I think they look great and they are very comfy! so if you get chance of some, just grab them

they seem to sit about half an inch higher, I have just raised the steering wheel height a bit and it feels no different to the old seating position. they are not as snug as the old style bucket seats but they are more comfy.

did you get the whole back seat in ok now eversham?

They look really nice. I prefer the colour to the blue Sti ones.
Do they have side airbags and where did you buy them from?
Cheers

Have you got any pictures of the rear seats, would be interesting to see the difference between the classic & newage fitment. ie how the rear back section mounts as well as the base seat?

ive not even looked at putting them in yet mate. eversham has a set also and if you look in projects for the pimp wagon thread, theres more pics there, he was as far as I know fitting the rear today.
