Default A few pics of my classic

Here are a few photos I took today of my MY99 Impreza Turbo 2000. It is mostly standard except for the exhaust and a few small exterior mods. I look after the car and I do not abuse it - it's taken me 10 years to get one so I'm going to hold on to it!

I haven't put any photos of the car up yet because I didn't like the gold wheels on it before, but now I'm finally happy with it

Great looking car. My first one was green.

Where did you get the fog/driving light grills?

Thanks for the comments everyone.

Bioforger, that looks just like mine although yours had 17" wheels. Mine is a 'T' Reg too by the way.

Not sure where the fog lamp grills were from f1 fan, sorry. They were on the car when I bought it. by the looks of them I'm thinking they're probably an OEM part from Subaru?

No worries as I am sure someone will know. I kind of like them, adds to the 'mood' of the front of the car.

BTW you have the best OEM wheels there too. The MY00 that followed those were yuck.

Very tidy mate,

As everyone else has already said, green classics are the way forward I like the colour coded wing mirrors and side skirts, might have to do that !

Thanks for the feedback. I don't see too many green classics around so I guess they're a fairly rare colour.

I never really thought people would like the fog light covers before. I'm undecided whether it looks better with or without.

Nice looking classic and same colour as mine - check 'view my scooby'. I personally wouldn't have gone for green but it was the 'right' car and only had 45k on the clock. However, I love the way the mica paint changes in different light and the effect in full sun is , with a distinct turquoise shade to it.

Cheers
Nick

On the last of the classic it is 64C (MY99-00). I'm not sure if it is different on the earlier versions.

yep mine is also the 64c colour code. It is quite an unusual shade of green as mentioned.

I know a few people with green cars from other manufacturers and they don't stand out as much. I think most green cars are a darker shade than the Subaru shade of green.

By the way, forgot to mention that I chose my car for the same reason Nick Cat. It's only got 54,000 ish miles
