sorry thats because lots of scooby owners still have taste and remain purists.

apologies but it reminds me of what radioactive weed may look like growning in your bay. the rest of the car is clean, but the engine bay reminds me from something off toxic crusader

your car though and your money end of the day. il be honest and warn you if your going for a f.a.t.f. look, you may recieve more harsh a word than mine

i know the sort of comments that will come but its look i want to go for i have the power i want now 300+bhp so its all down to the body work now i use the cars for modified car shows and cruises not for meets and gathering as such

so its used in a different scene and i dont expect many people on this site to be in to the same sort of thing but then the average age of this forum is a lot older than i am and the people who attend the cruises etc or watch f.a.t.f

I think it looks good but IMO I don't think the green should come out of the grill. The rest would look good at shows and things

the thing is scoobs were meant to be fun drivers cars, not something you stick stupid lights all rounds with ridiculous 20" bling chrome rims (yo).

"slammin dat mudduh" etc is for saxo's and the corsa "cru". do you not wonder why your getting slated for ruining a drivers car, not a show car.

buy some slow **** 1.4 if your gonna turn it into a bodykit/subwoofer max power special. your ruining a legend as are a lot of people these days... funnily enough since these were available to the masses

i give up

So why did you stick that stuff over your pipes on your old one

Just because he put neons in the front grill dosnt make it Maxpower, if you were to think like that, then the same could be said for loud exhausts

that was a temporary measure until i pressure washed my engine bay.

this was the engine bay the day the scoob sold...

i know which i prefer anyways. besides the plastic hose coverings were the same colour as my fitted samco hoses and took an hour to fit? cost me £12 and took 30 secs to rip off. whereas this gentleman above has probably spent more on something that proably took longer to wire up and that cant be taken off in 30 secs. all imho ofcourse

there alot of scoobys at the shows how does doing this to my engine bay ruin a drivers car its over 300bhp and handles well and is a fast street car i have finshed all the power mods i want and now i have moved on to the body work and the looks

lot of people run subwoofers etc o nthere cars and verious styling mods basically ur saying that no improvements should be done to the body u should just mod the engine hmmmm can you not make the car your own and make it stand out from the crowd as i said before so many of these cars look the same nowadays

also fair enough the film was in 2001 but the look of the cars were great and can mix some of that with some of the new stuff out today

simple point im trying to make is why change the bodywork and weigh the car down with big sound systems etc as it ruins the handling.

fair play your running over 300bhp, more than i had in my old scoob, but sticking a few kg's in the boot or putting a bodykit on could ruin the natural characteristics of the car.

again the above is my opinion (probably a few others too), but i am a purist. i dont do bodykits/neons/bling rims/subs etc, as i personally prefer a nice clean standard looking car with plenty of power.

i dont see how having a show car with a bodykit or over 300bhp is any fun to drive as wouldnt you be paranoid of damaging it when you gave it beans... like the car was originally designed to do, not be stood on a stand shining to the crowds
