Since getting rid of my hawkeye for an M3 i've kept an eye mostly on NASIOC to see what people are doing with the 08s as i may jump back in a years time or so. The standard 08 looks a little awkward to me, but i've always thought the most stricking mods to a car are a decent set of wheels and suspension (forget tacky bodykits) and this car certainly looks the business...

Stolen from Process West's post on Nasioc, same wheels but silver black combo. Not a favourite colour of mine but the stance of the car with that size wheel and offset is perfect.... how it rides tho is another question

Wheels and seats look spot on... shame you couldn't just rip them out and put them in a hawkeye or a classic then you would have a really cool Impreza.

I think the different wheels and lowering definitely make it look better in my opinion. But I will never like the overall shape of the car is it is too hatchback shaped i.e. similar to a focus. Nor do I like the Lexarse rear lights. The interior looks nice though!

I still dont like them. I think the back lights are disgusting. The silver one looks nice...apart from the lights!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The lights really are horrible, lots of people in the US have changed them tho. Makes a lot of difference too.

I'm waiting to see what the WRC car looks like in tarmac spec... that should sway me even more. Think Germany is the next tarmac event.

Gonna test drive one on Saturday, trouble is the standard car looks so stupid on small wheels tucked under the arches and on stilts.... they really don't sell themselves well. Hope prodrive soon have some decent suspension and wheel options (don't like GT1s)

Not likeing the hatchback at all in my opinion they look like a cross between a astra and a mini cooper.
Had one follow me yesterday and the rear view i got was just mini cooper bonnet vent.
Just my opinion.

Those wheels look mean on the car, and as said before, I love the look of the front, but as soon as you see the side and the rear, just looks like another hot hatch.

But its growing on me.

The car in the above pics is mine.

It actually rides better than what it did with the stock BBS wheels. The larger wheel/tyre combo is lighter than stock by 1kg per wheel.

I will be using the stock wheels with Rspec tyres for the track.

I will mod the tail light ASAP

wheels are a cracking improvement looks far more agressive and purposefull.

imo the lights aren't a big problem on the lighter colours. just look awful on the darker colour 08s
