You should get some of these pictures on your project page.
Next time get one of the start line marshals when they were rubbing their hands together every time I lined up. The class behind were lining up on the start to watch the launch as the mega rom popped and banged on the rev limiter!
Even the photographer moved back 10 feet after my first run.
Good fun day.

I have added a bit of text in the Projects section under the 2008 season header - John Blademaster was in the mid 35 seconds I think - but I
do remember he was over 1.5 seconds quicker than me (damn)!
When the official times are sent out I will post on here - some drivers posted some amazing times on Sunday.
I did manage a 97 mph over the finish line.

I was doing 35.32 and 35.26 on Toyo T1R's.
On a cooler day it would have been easy 34's but the intake temps were too high so I turned the boost down, also getting fuel starvation out of the bottom hairpin.
Swirl pot mod required!

Timing Strut Dimensions for Matt
Yes they do:-
From the MSA Blue Book 2008 timing strut should be:
Section I page 67 "minimum vertical height 254mm bottom of which should not be less than 180mm and no more than 200mm from the ground, the strut will be in matt black on both sides, over it's total area, which shall not be less than 254mm x 51mm. No other or further forward, part of the vehicle may interrupt these dimensions or actuate the timing".

Cheers for that.
Starting to get the car ready for next year. Maybe even Shelsy in September this year if i can.

After that, I think the only events left me during 2008 are the Shelsley August 16/17 and 20th September ones.
Cannot get to Loton Park or Prescott until 2009
