Hey guys, i had my PFF7's sprayed the same colour as my car, while it was being done i was thinking that i had made a mistake and that it would make my car look boy racer cheezy bollocks,

But, the pictures dont do them justice, they look great, everyone loves them, loads of head turning,

These pics were taken straight after getting my tyres fitted so lack tyre shine and a good wipe down, i will get more pics up when i clean them up

I agree. Sorry but don't like them, reckon it would have looked better anthracite or black. But just my opinion. As long as you're happy right.

I think its looks alright, maybe the car and wheels would suit a different colour paint job altogether?? that red reminds me of sierra cosworths and granada's for some reason. But i think it looks nice still.... fair play mate...its different and uve achieved that

stick em on mate...i had all that sitting in missus's stairwell cupboard for ages and she proper moaned at me for time to put em out, or on the car. put on in the end and chuffed with the result. got angeleyes on my car now, with halfords brilliance blue/white bulbs in them with ice blue sidelights, looks really nice, definitely a change from dull yellow from behind frosty old lenses!

I used to have red wheels on my blue newage, hated them after a while. Gone back to gold now.

Needs lowering and a splitter.

Its hard to rock something like that in the UK.

If it was stateside you'd pull it off easy.

Its already lowered on eibachs all round, not that theres much difference, in the amount of lowering or handling, i dont want to go any lower because then i will have to have the arches grinded as they will start to scrub,

I agree, i do need a splitter for it, thats my next part to go on,

What the pictures dont show is the quality of the finish on the wheels, they are better than the cars 7 year old paint work and look really good on or off the car, honestly everyone who has seen them in the flesh has loved them,

Im using the new goodyear asymetics too and all i can say after 100 miles is that they are great, turn is is better than the toyo T1R and the steering feels loads lighter, they are the best tyres i have had yet

Im going to get it detailed so it should look even better then

But thats what i needs mate, some coliovers and some arch rolling.

Thats how you can make the most of coloured wheels. Reason being is that its mainly done on race cars and JDM street and TA cars. Theyre all decked and thats why they look so good.

The car is getting on a bit now, its 2001, last of the classics but still getting on, not sure if i can justify throwing much more money at it,

Its only just hit 42000 miles so i might sell it this summer while its still low mileage, im undecided

arch rolling doesnt normally cost more than 18quid a wheel mate, cheap! thAts local here though, not sure prices where u live. would look nice them wheels tucked up nicely in the arches

na lad on a show car yes or a mad track car that just looks mad anyway u get away with it ...your car ..well i dunno ...

its not mad enuff to pull it off...if it was decked ,no rear spoiler carbon boot carbon bonnett and car fron spoiler then yes it "mite" work ..

but its your car and u do what you think is nice ..so if u like it go with it

Smooth and subtle is the way forward, i agree wiht the need for it to be lowered a bit more and the front splitter, i also may be inclined to fit splash guards to make the side skirts a bit more chunky

but carbon bonnets, i have never liked the idea of them, to me it makes it look as if your original bonnet has been damaged and replaced with the wrong colour scrap yard special ready for painting
