It could have been an importing **** up lol. There are a few cars like this, like a should be 'M' reg Supra on a '05 plate cos thats when it was brought over. Dunno how it happens, just know it does sometimes. Or it could have been a car that was in a showroom/museum from new and never registered until 2004

M8 it is possible , here in northern ireland if you import a car which was manufactured say in 1998 and register it now it will have a 2006 registration and if i buy a car on the mainland and register it in northern ireland , the tax office will give me the option to keep the original plate or re reg it with a new N.I plate do,nt know why
