i got mine powder coated mate ,,,cost £20 thats all,
i did it as i got my inlet done just thought it would be diffrent

as for the chrome air box pipe it was on when it was imported in june,,think its zero sport

Did the guys fitting these intercoolers use the clips supplied or replace them with better clips? ( if so where from ) Only asking as i have one in the garage to fit in the new year.

Slighty different slant on things but here's my autobahn 88 intercooler.
Its painted black, its a reverse manifold/rotated garrett GT30R job and it is coping with circa 500bhp quite well.

I also have a pdf instruction manual with pics for fitting the autobahn 88 cooler.

the clips that come with it aren't very good at all
i run very high boost so changed them to mikalors
still blew them off, specially the throttle body

changed them to murray , which look similar to jubilee, but are about 100 times better
haven't blown 1 off in 8 months

get them from either owen developments or sorensen motorsport in devon
