Smile STi Type RA - project/updates

Winter project is front mount intercooler, but for now:

1. Sparco 4 point harness fitted

2. Oil pressure and boost gauges now light up with side/head lights (makes the dashboard lighting look pretty poor)

3. Power FC Controller (finally) mounted to dashboard with number plate sticky pads

4. Fuel pressure regulator fitted

5. Finally a bit of a clean and tidy up

After 18 months of ownership I am slowly "getting there"!

I am amazed at the "spool up" difference the TD05 has (mind you it also has alot to do with an 18 month development plan with the car as a whole).

More BHP = Mucho £

Not much more left to do now (thank goodness).

Glad my old turbo is working well for you

Looks smart, Very Smart. Just a quick question - where have you mounted the upper harness straps too, seems to be much conflaberation about the best place to put em!

Bicco,

I have never been able to obtain 100% clarification as to where the upper harness straps should be anchored to.

The Motor Sports Association Rule Book goes into some detail about the angle of the straps - but is not clear.

However, I have used the current set up on hillclimbs during the summer, and have not had any issues with the Scrutineers.

The harness is only used for motorsport events.
