Default My Type r from Japan

My V3 Type R which has just come from Japan which was prepared and raced by a tuning company over there





TYPE R spec as follows

Fully built 2.0 engine
Apexi AX turbo.
Apexi induction kit
HKS Headers and Full 3inch s/s exhaust (decatted) ARC front mount intercooler.
HKS cams
HKS boost controller.
Cusco front and rear plated LSD’s
Upgraded Gearbox internals with dccd
Racing clutch kit fitted
“Racing speck” Race adjustable coilover suspension
Strut braces upper/lower front/back
17 ins Racing Hart CP035R lightweight alloys 235/45/17
Carbon bonnet
Front spoiler/bumper
GT rear wing/spoiler
Quad headlight conversion
3x Greddy gauges in centre console
Greedy boost gauge
Aftermarket pedals
Momo steering wheel
Samco hoses
Body reinforcement work done
Full roll cage installed
Drivers racing bucket seat
No carpets
No radio
No spare wheel
No back seats.
And as its now 10 years old no sva needed just a mot which it now has.
I now need a ecu (simtek Probably) and remap and see what sort of power she's got.

Very Nice but sort out mismatch black paint on the bonnet and headlight and (sorry) the spoiler it got to go !

Put it back to somewhere near standard (body wise) and it'll be quite nice.

I'm sorry, but, I don't care if it was built and raced in Japan, but that front end is awful and just doesnt suit an Impreza IMO. That includes the CF bonnet. Also loose the rear spoiler as it's very OTT IMO.

Just my thoughts on the exterior.

Having said that, the front bumper is probably very functional and serves a purpose.

Got any interior/engine bay pics? Thats probably a lot better prepped.

Same for me. But I bet the engine is awsome !

like the bonnet could do with it colour coding scrap the wing before some one jumps on it when you park it and could do with a chunkier set of wheels but thats just me, enjoy

least you won't drive round looking a **** with fog lights on when its not even foggie!!









Ps, i like the spoiler.. body kit... but think it all needs to be white on the bonnet

pps... have you any neons?

Potentially you have some motor on your hands there, you need to get rid of that hideous bonnet though and the scaffolding at the rear.

It should be all white with maybe a P1 front lip at most and a Sti V5 rear spoiler, get that sorted and you will have a top motor.
