another before and after....
but this time for my exhaust.
after the blitz nur spec-r came in the post monday damaged, its the only thing thats been on my mind. luckily, a local custom exhaust specialist has it now and it should as i speak be repaired with an identical tail pipe. touch wood the repair work hasnt altered the distinctive blitz sound....
anywho, this is my current scoobybits system. she has served me well, and will serve my mate well when shes swapped onto his car either tomorrow or soon after.
(not sure on video quality as never tried it with a digi cam before)
Video of scoobybits system - Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
so im off to rebel power pipes in barton-upon-humber tomorrow morning around 9-10am armed with my wallet and camera for a couple "boffin" pics...
will update tomorrow, with a sound clip of the blitz too.

right as updates go, il keep it brief...
went through to 'rebel power pipes' yesterday morning. deepak (the gaffer) had done an excellent job of the repair. spot on size, fitment, even the slant on the tip too.
fitted a treat, as i provided new bolts etc.
all in inc. v.a.t. it was £58.00 for the actual repair and to fit it.
my mate then turned up and had my other system fotted to his scoob.
so two happy faces.
the sound...what can i say, its phenominal. its much louder than the scoobybits system, and i thought that was loud but im very happy. only minor alteration was just now. one of the hangers was squeeking on a bolt fitting under there so bent it up with a pair pliers, jobs a good un...

Pleased your happy with it Andy, the repair looked spot on.
Not too noisy then, I keep the bung in mine, only take it out occasionally.
Don't upset the neihbours too much.

Both links work for me, though I have to turn the volume up to hear the Blitz
I always post details of events on Humberjapcars. Keep looking Andy.
Theres a couple coming up on Saturdays, arranged just for you.

been considering getting some business cards made up for my commission work. give out at shows etc...

Good idea about the cards Andy, if you go in to TSW on Frod Rd, ask for Richard, tell him I sent you. He'll give you a good price, Might do them in exchange for a drawing of his car.
