Question PIC REQUEST: bugeye rear end with no badges??

as title not sure weather take the wrx and impreza badges off or the subaru, or one or the other

what did you guys end up using to remove the SUBARU badge off the boot of your cars?

smart are they stuck on ? no holes behind them? was thinkin maybe leave subaru on and remove wrx impreza... not sure yet hmmmmmm

They are stuck on with very sticky foam type stuff no holes

Prized mine off carefully with a knife, then polished the area to remove all the sticky stuff, comes off pretty easy.

I replaced SUBARU with SCOOBY

Try some dental floss to remove them and then polish the sticky off. Less chance of slipping and scratching the paintwork.

i used some strong fishing line to cut through the pads,then t cut removed the rest. easy really.

Perhaps there is something I am not getting. I have recently bought a a standard bugeye with only 27000 miles. I've started to mod it but really can't see the benefit of removing the rear badges. Sorry, but I think it looks better with them on.

What mods have you done? maybe yours wont be everyones cup of tea

Cant you just hairdryer them off, some bug&tar remover and then a good polish?

Wish it had just been pads on my hawkeye - they decided to drill holes for the Subaru badge this time round so bit harder to get rid of - but they had to go

Here's mine:



I used a plastic filling trowel thingy to get them off and then auto glym tar remover to get the horrible sticky foam stuff off with. Hope you like it.
