I get why people idolize these sportsmen, but turning your car into a shrine is just a bit odd IMHO. Each to their own of course.

Like I said, each to their own. A mark of respect in my mind is buying an RB320 or in a way simply owning and enjoying a scoob as guys like this made it what it is after all. Putting their names and lifespan on your car makes it a bit of a headstone in my opinion. I just don't think it's right somehow.

Not everyone can afford to run out and buy an Impreza RB320 This is most peoples way of showing their respect to their heros. If you don't respect that I suggest you keep your opinion to yourself.

Sorry, but if you post piccies, you can expect comments! Personally, I think its a nice touch, but equally I can understand those who'd disagree so each to their own. Burns and McCrae were both really nice blokes so no point in anyone on Scoobynet getting lairy.

Indeed, what is the point of a forum where everyone keeps their opinions to themselves? I don't think I was being confrontational in anyway in expressing my opinion on this matter.

Its mainly to show respect to the ones that we have all watched on our tv, who have but there lifes in danger, just for us to watch. (and for the buzz)

I had to put the Colin sticker on the car as the car is a limited catalunya which only 200 was made back in 1997 when colin won the catalunya rally and subaru won the manufacturer title.

Hi Mikkel,

Can see your point, but I want to show my respect and admiration for Colin, so I have ordered the McCrae vinyl sticker for the rear window of my RB320!
That tends to cover all the bases doesn't it?

SwissTony - I hope these stickers are being given away as opposed to sold as that really would be bad craic.

EDIT: I've just read on another thread the money is being raised for some kind of good cause, which gets the thumbs up from me.
