Default painted calipers

took a couple of pics of my calipers which i pimped up yesterday.what you think?

The colour...

I think its too garish for an impreza, moreso stock impreza 4 pots. If you have loud coloured brakes to attract people attentions then IMO they need to be of copious size in order to pull it off.

However please dont take this as a knock, merely stating my personal opinion. Like i said before they seem to have be done very well.

I have 356mm APs, of which 99% of customers buy them in red with white writing. I still opted for the original black with yellow writing lol.

Ah fair enough, was just curious

I like the colour as it looks abit sparkly and matches my nail vanish

red is for too common for calipers these days. We need to start seeing, white, cerise pink, yellow, mint green and the likes on scoobies.

I think on a sonic blue those would look lovely . Remember the flash can make all the difference in those pics .

mixed colour up myself.car is silver with the black wheels so just adds a touch of colour .unsure whether to do the rears to match?

I myself had the STi Brembo's re-painted in Mica Black/Blue (same as car) with Electric Blue Brembo logo.

Blends in better I feel

exactly what i have in mind for mine! car is silver, but black wheels with blue calipers and silver/yellow "subaru" and lines. looks good IMHO

The logo is raised on the front 4-pots so I'm betting he's used a sponge dipped in white paint and dabbed it on. I did the same with mine (but painted the calipers red) not long since - click View my Scooby for pics.

painted the lettering and lines with a paint brush in silver then laquered over them.im a smart repairer by trade so got all the gear.

MJW - did you paint your calipers in situ or did you remove them from the car first.
