pics and specs of scoobies over 500bhp!!
Following on from the 400bhp thread. Im interested to see the even bigger powered cars here on SN.
500bhp is becoming more commonplace with the better spec of parts and turbos.

here is just a few bits of the never ending list :
ej22 cdb (machined to take phase II 2.5 crank)
2.5 phase II crank
Lateral custom wiesco stroker pistons (need to collect)
Lateral custom crower 'H' section rods (need to collect)
Acl race bearings (need to collect)
arp head stud kit
port/polish sti v5/v6 heads
uprated cams, valves, springs, retainers (to be decided on at later date)
RCM oil pump
garrett gt 35/40 rotated turbo
custom up-pipe & 3" downpipe
tial external wastegate
sx fuel reg
carl davey billet fuel rails and fittings
flow matched injectors
reversed inlet manifold
PPG 1-4 straight cut and steel forks
cdf pulley set in hard anodised
cdf adjustable cam pulleys in hard anodised (waiting for them to be finished)
simtek or link G3 ecu with als etc... (to be decided at later date)
all this is to name a few and i think i have forgot loads of other parts..lol

A couple of things, I haven't driven a newage with that sort of power, 360 Bhp in a full fat bugeye is the only one I have driven in anger, a 320 Bhp P1(girlfriends, so I drive that a lot) is the nearest to it speed wise. I prefer the classic all day long as a power car, the weight does make a difference
I have only owned classics, and the beast I have put the spec up to isn't finished yet, it's not far off though all the main bits are in place, just waiting on a gearbox.
I would say that the newage would be better due to the wider track and a stiffer shell, although everyone on this thread has said that the newage is better, but has a classic.
All the top runners, Zen, P20SPD (his and Marks car), Andy F, etc all drive classics so they can't be that bad

My thoughts exactly, but then does that mean 450hp is plenty for the classic chassis, or can it still properly use 500 odd hp. For the road of course. 
You must be the only one out of the names 500 has listed, that uses your car as a daily driver though Steven?
Ideally a newage that weighs the same as a classic is the best of the two....?
