^^ Not my favourites though. Very challenging and too demanding to achieve any serious speed with very dire consequences for even the slightest error. Ribblesdale (Ingleton to Hawes) has to be my place of choice so far, although a trip to Applecross via Bealach Na Ba is on my do before I die list.

Remember though, all road traffic law is enforceable on private land. Changed in the late 80's under Maggie IIRC and caused a bit of tension with regards to rallying etc.

last year i was up in the drimsynie resort at lochgoilhead i think it was, the roads up there where amazing, shame i was in my GFs audi and not my scoob.

Hardknott and Wrynose are in The Lake District, along with Kirkstone, Honister and many more superb runs.
