Offroad Test Shots
Just thought i would post these for your opinions / thoughts.
Had some test shots done by a fairly good photographer who is a friend of the family with a view to giving him some cash to go out for a day with me and get some others nice shots.. here is what he came up with (10mins at a privately owned estate track)
As i said, opinions welcome... and thanks for looking.

It depends on what you are trying to achieve.
My honest opinion is that the shots are boring.
I am trying to be constructive, it looks like a sedate drive down a country lane.
You could improve the shots by getting the background to be blurred to give the impression of speed. You don't need to go fast for it, your photogropher will know how to set the shutter / exposure accordingly.
Nice car, top location

Comments taken on board, i personally only like the middle 2... dont know why but they seem the most warming to my eyes.
I know nothing about photography (although would love to have time to learn), and am very grateful for your feedback which i will give to the photographer for the proper set. Perhaps he already knows how to set up and didnt have time this time round (2mins convo and he went for it to give me an idea...).
More welcome

Get him to try different camera angles, lower down, higher up, slanted.
Take a look at the gallery on SWRT.com for ideas (I don't mean ruining your pride and joy by Yumping over crests).
A lower camera position gives a meaner look to the cars.
Spray the car blue, sticker it up, apply Halfrods spray on mud et Voila.... Oops gone too far now...
Best of luck with the shoot, keep us posted with the results.
