MY99 V5 Type-R Detailed (not 56k friendly)
I recently got my car back from a warehouse (not used over winter) and made a few changes, getting ready for the summer.
I've been searching for an exhaust system which would be different to everyone else, but my luck hasn't been good in locating an APEXi N1 exhaust. A Nur Spec R came up at a good price so I bought it.
An old photo showing my ScoobSport decat system and towbar...
Towbar off...
Once I had removed the SS system, I also took off the heat shields and polished them up.
New zorst fitted:
Last weekend I thought it was about time it had another wash. It was time to use all my new products from Polished Bliss, and do a full detail. Well, I started on Saturday and finished on Wednesday. Photos also show my refurbed wheels.
Here are the results; just a shame that the sun wasn't out as the photos don't do it justice.
Products used were:
Washed using 2-bucket method
Meguiar's suds
Menzerna Intensive Polish
Blackfire Gloss Enhancing Polish (2 coats)
Blackfire Wet Diamond (2 coats)
Poorboy's Wheel Sealant (3 coats each wheel)
Blackfire Long Lasting Tyre Gel
Arches cleaned using Meguiar's suds and then coated with Blackfire LLTG.
All work was done by hand, and I'm gonna continue cleaning other bits this weekend. LOL

Cheers for all the comments.
Richard, no photos of the Rover, though you can see it in the background of the photos.
Thanks, Si.
Will be getting underneath today, to buff up the underside.

Looks very clean!, is the engine bay as clean? .. I was wondering which product to use on my wheels to keep them looking black/wet .. where can you get this blackfire stuff from? Halfords etc or is it online only?

Very nice car mate.
I fitted a Nur spec R system to my 1st Impreza, a very nice sound indeed.
