My Toyota/Subaru hybrid (sort of!!)
Hey guys,
Im actually here as you may have seen to find an actuator for my TD04 (which is now sorted thanks to 5cby!) so thought id post up a couple of pics of what the turbo is going on.
The car is a 1996 Toyota Starlet Glanza V which ive had for about a year and a half now. Is seriously good fun to drive and scares alot of bigger cars even in its current guise (about 150bhp).
This is how it looked when I got it from Newera:
Anyway here she is on summer wheels and tyres (SSR Type C's wrapped in Dunlop formula R's):
Since then have had the bonnet pinned down:
And a quick one of the back:
The (comprehensive!) mod list:
Zeit SS alloys in bronze wrapped in Toyo T1R's (winter wheels)
SSR Type C forged alloys in white wrapped in Dunlop Formula R semi slicks (summer tyres) these wheels weigh only 3.9kg!
Facelift front indicators, rear lenses and foglights + new headlights to get rid of the yellow tinge!
Facelift front bumper with blended lip both modified around FMIC
Carbon fibre bonnet with pins
Blitz LM front mount
Fujitsubo Legalis R cat back system
WickedEP racing decat
Apexi power intake
HKS actuator set at 0.8bar
Greddy Profec E-01 boost controller
Walbro 255lph fuel pump
HKS SSQV blow off valve
Varley Red Top 40 battery relocated to the boot
DIY Earthing kit
TRD engine mounts
TRD thermostat
Blitz rad cap
Carbing radiator cooling plate
Greddy catch can
Tein Type HR coilovers
Carbing 3point front strut brace
Toyota factory optional 3 point rear strut brace
Cusco lower arm bar
Cusco panhard rod
DIY anti-lift plate kit
Stripped rear interior
Defi BF boost and oil temp gauges
Defi control unit II
Defi Link display unit
Profec E-01 boost controller (with screen)
HKS turbo timer
Road Angel II
Bits I still have to fit are:
WickedEP Racing TD04 tubular manifold
WEPR dump pipe with separated wastegate pipe (to atmousphere)
WEPR stainless exhaust system
330cc injectors
Greddy emanage blue
And coming soon is a Bride Zeta III racing seat and Takata 4 point harness
Well I think thats everything! I hope you lot dont mind me posting such a long list.
Comments more than welcome from fellow Jap enthusiasts!
Cheers
John
P.S. Once the TD04 is on and the emanage is mapped this should be running at about 220bhp at 1bar. The engine will safely run about 230-240bhp on standard internals so I will probably run 0.8-0.9bar to be on the safe side.

Cheers for the comments everyone! Will keep you posted on how the TD04 goes.
Forgot to mention the brakes in the first post so heres what ive done on those:
3G 10 groove discs
Mintex 1144 fast road pads
Braided lines
Cusco master cylinder brace
Rebuilt front and rear calipers
Motul RBF600 fluid
Considering a Zep Racing (Jap starlet specialist) R32 caliper and disc kit although it stops fantastically as it is!
TRD, hows it going matey? Still drool over your Impreza! Often see it dotted around the forum in your sig. Do you miss your EP at all?!
Thanks again!
