Looks good with flaps! More lairy... but definitely sets it off nicely. Although I would remove the splash guards first.

Mine flap back when moving above 40 mph ish....
They are fairly thick and solid but not ridgid. They are not the plastic type that you can buy.
I wanted ones which moved however, looks cool rolling then with the flaps back at speed.

I've just got some black flaps for my black WRX - in my opinion don't bother flapping unless it's the same colour as your car.
That last post is a classic example of an improved car with a £50 mod

id like to get some flaps for my red classic uk turbo. but all the ones i see always have either "sti" or "wrx" on them. without hijacking the thread, where is generally the best place to get them... was thinking wither black flaps or carbon fibre jobbies, with simple subaru swooshes on them...
ive tried searching to no avail

Here is some of the info from their ebay advert:

I think they may be able to do other logos on request, I think I heard of some people getting a prodrive logo.

I think they should be predominantly black or the same colour as the car, otherwise they stand out too much.
Choc, I think your idea of black with red writing would look fine. If you didn't like the stickers you could always peel them off anyway.
