I like the flaps. I wanted some myself but was told Id need to remove the splash guards. Youve still got yours on so maybe I'll go ahead and buy some now.

Looks good with flaps! More lairy... but definitely sets it off nicely. Although I would remove the splash guards first.

Are your flaps stiff (oooh errr!) or have you had somebody follow you & said that they flap in the wind. Did that make sense? You know what I mean, like the rally cars flaps flap in the wind.

Mine flap back when moving above 40 mph ish....

They are fairly thick and solid but not ridgid. They are not the plastic type that you can buy.

I wanted ones which moved however, looks cool rolling then with the flaps back at speed.

Get it flapped up. Cheap mod that improves the look and saves paint on the lower doors.

I've just got some black flaps for my black WRX - in my opinion don't bother flapping unless it's the same colour as your car.

That last post is a classic example of an improved car with a £50 mod

id like to get some flaps for my red classic uk turbo. but all the ones i see always have either "sti" or "wrx" on them. without hijacking the thread, where is generally the best place to get them... was thinking wither black flaps or carbon fibre jobbies, with simple subaru swooshes on them...

ive tried searching to no avail

Performance creations (via ebay) have various different logos available.

Here is some of the info from their ebay advert:

Currently Available in WR BLUE, RED, BLACK and WHITE with either
  • WRX Logo
  • STi Logo
  • Swoosh + Stars
  • UK300 Logo
Your logo can be in any of the following Colour's -
White
Red
Pink
Titanium (Silver)
Gold
Chrome
Black
Yellow
Blue

Or you can have them without logo if you prefer.

**Please state which LOGO and COLOUR of Mudflaps you require when ordering. (If paying by PayPal put a note in the comments box when paying) OTHERWISE there can be a delay in processing your order, Also make sure your address details are correct to ensure Speedy Delivery!

I think they may be able to do other logos on request, I think I heard of some people getting a prodrive logo.

I think they should be predominantly black or the same colour as the car, otherwise they stand out too much.
Choc, I think your idea of black with red writing would look fine. If you didn't like the stickers you could always peel them off anyway.
