Do you think you have enough gauges on the dash?

Yeah, we get that a lot. But since we are new to this car, we want to keep a close eye on what the motor is doing. We've got the basics like water temp, oil temp and oil pressure, plus two to monitor the turbo (EGT and boost) and finally, a fuel pressure gauge we installed for a test session and never removed. They've all been helpful in debugging the little gremlins we've been dealing with.

It looks out of hand, but I'm only concerned with the basic three while racing.

davyboy,

Are you for hire? THAT'S the type of out of the box thinking we're looking for!

Looks cool!

How are your results going this season? Hopefully you are not being as heavily penalised for running AWD as was the case in the UK (+50 kg IIRC).

Duncan

PS. What no net over the drivers window? We imported them into the UK following Nigel Mansells run in with Tiff Needell and a bridge parapet at Donnington a few years back.

Gary...

Just had a fantastic half an hour checking out your team site.
If only we had some Subies/Scoobies in out Touring Car racing.

Congratulations on a fantastic series so far, and fingers-crossed for your upcoming races at Laguna Seca.

Shame GT3 on the PS2 doesn't have wet races there for you to practice with, eh?

Squizz.

BugEye,

We are currently in 2nd place in the championship with one race to go in mid December. We were originally carrying a 150 pound AWD penalty that was reduced to 50 pounds midway through the season.

There is a driver's net over the window. It's one of the new black mesh versions that doesn't effect visibility as much. We had one close call earlier in the season where a cornerworker couldn't see the window net and we nearly got a black flag. My crew chief Joel just barely managed to convince the race director that we were legal and we ended up with a 2nd that race!

Salsa-king,

We are racing against BMW 328's, Mazda 626's, Honda Preludes and Civics and Acura Integras. The BMW has been the stiffest competition so far, but I think we've finally got him handled

I'll definitely email you my address for a Smilie Face!

Andy,

Didn't understand the lolli or shroom comment (silly American I am). Can't talk too much about the numbers, but we've been able to increase power a good amount with intake, exhaust and engine management mods, without exceeding stock boost (series rules).

Squizz,

Thanks for the congrats. Hopefully we'll do very well at Laguna Seca and I'll have something to write about.

Until then, you can read how our last race weekend went by clicking HERE.
