Default Few new bits, TEK3 and a good clean...

After the clutch bearing went on my STi V5 a few weeks ago i decided to get a few bits done at the same time seeing as the engine/box was being taken apart

Car was completly standard before and ive now added the following..

Excedy Organic Clutch
Lightened flywheel
Rogerclarke Lightened Pully set

H&S Flexi Up-Pipe
De-Cat Downpipe
HKS Hiper System

STi 8 TMIC
K&N Panel Filter
3 Port Boost Solinoid

Had the car mapped at Powerstation this morning and running a nice steady 1.25bar car produced 317bhp/392nm

Well pleased with the power now its so much more torque'e to drive and feels much stronger when pulling. After all the running around and endless finger prints and dead flys all over it i decided now its time to clean her back up

Here's how she looks now...

Even scrubbed under the hood

Cheers

Sy

Cheers guys

The wheels were gold originally and now painted in Porsche grey which i think really suits the car. I went for the HKS as i had one on my old bugeye and just love the way it looks

Fragal, the backbox looks really really nice. What diameter size is the exit, 4"?
It looks so much better than an equivalent type h&s 4.5" jap style or afterburner for some reason. I think their exit pipes are a bit too long perhaps. Im researching to get myself a backbox but cant decide. Id like to compare pics of yours to a blitz b/b. How does ur hks sound anyway, medium loud or very loud, and good burble, compared with common ones? Thanks

Cheers guys

The STi 8 tmic i got off a mate that works at a main dealer for £100 as a customer was having a fm put on and he asked the chap if he knew anyone that was after one, at that price I couldn't say no! Fitting was also done by the same chap, it was a bit of work to get it all on and retain the strut brace.
I had looked a few ways of doing this on scoobynet but in the end it i left it to my mate who done a cracking job as the intercooler doesnt foul anywhere.

The remap cost me £400+vat at Powerstation and was done by Rich who has done a great job

The HKS box is a 3" system with a 5" tailpipe and sounds great imo. I had a Ninja fitted before which was a great bit of kit although with the full decat it was too loud for me, the HKS is inbetween a Prodrive & Ninja in terms of volume, nice burble on ideal, great on WOT but doesnt drown on cruising. Plus it looks stunning

Had quite a few coments on the wheels since owing the car (3 months) and i love em, they're not quite anthricite more of a gloss grey that im told is used by porsche on some of their alloys, and really go well with the black.

Looking to get a P1 splitter to finish the front off next and maybe some flaps. Next big job will be suspension then brakes although that will have to wait for the money tree to grow back lol
