Tim,
the wonders of digital cameras just delete the pics that are blurred or mis-timed, not to mention the ones of empty track . Good to see ChrisB washed behind his ears yesterday .

Ha ha... nice one!
I'm amazed you didnt get any of mine on film..... they were pretty regular!
Cheers to Pete and Stu for allowing me to bring the good name of Scoobysport into disrepute with my unique driving style! and of course Stef for the whole jobbie!
We have GOT to go there again
Cheers

Martin,
Superb pics m8 !!
Just recently joined the SIDC and that was my first AGM. I'd just like to say that I had a superb day, everyone was really friendly and there was a superb atmosphere !!
I was in the "P-Ones" team (kart No 7) and I think we did well to come in 10th considering we started 12th and I cost us about 7 laps when our first kart drowned on the first right-hand bend !!
The weather was dreadful but thankfully seemed to make things a little bit more even, and the track itself was absolutely superb and a far cry from the 50 metre loop I had gotten used to at Scarborough when I last karted about 15 years ago !!
All in all, a first rate day out, thanks to all involved for making me feel welcome, thanks to Stef for organising it, thanks to the team, Tom, Josh, Simon, Richard and Martin, and I hope we can get there again soon !!! Next time I'll bring a life raft !!
Oh, and a big thank you to Tom(Rum*) for getting me involved / driving etc..
Cheers,
John

I'm in that fourth pic, coming round that last corner and about to blitz Stef!
I was in RSOC 2, and had a really good laugh. Nice atmosphere, and a good bunch of lads and ladies.
Still wont be buying a scooby though...

Where are all the other pics? Someone must have one of the no.10 kart that was covered in grass. There were enough of you buggers with cameras taking pictures when I mangaged to get it to stop in the pits

Chris, great pic of Stef! But I think it's only fair to say that he only went on the grass so you could get a decent close up
In fact, Stef performed superbly and played the perfect host. Etiquette forbid his team from winning the event that he had organised and so Stef was forced to hand the lead to guests from the RS Club in the last few minutes with a spectacular sequence of crowd pleasing offs and spins. What a gent! !
Richard.
PS Pleased to say that Hoppy Junior also did the decent thing by dowsing Mike Rainbird with podium bubbly
PPS The karts weren't exactly new, but it's a great circuit with an excellent view of the whole track for spectators. Good facilities, too. Yeah, let's do it again.

Tony,
Yep that's our no.10 Power Mower
I think I managed to stop it applying the brake a few corners before the pit entrance.
Shame we had a duff kart but it made it an experience
I have to say the marshalling was absolute poo. I've been there a couple of times before and they were much tighter on the rules (speeding in the pit lane anyone?). It was like they didn't care, either that or they were fed up cause we broke so many of their karts

Have to agree with Matt here, the marshalling was complete cr4p... it took them too long to see to you if you encountered any problems !! Mind you, it was probably due to the fact that most of us were flying off the track at regular intervals !!
Didn't put me off though... when can we go again, please !?!!!?

Just had a phone call from our Structural Engineers company. They've got 2 spaces spare for a 2 hour race at Whilton Mill on the 4th November
Mind you, they might recognise me when I get there and just put me straight onto the lawn mower instead of a kart. Well at least it'll have breaks I suppose!
