Since the last time I post details of my car, it's under gone some more work!!
The P1 lights have now gone in favour of these covers, to give the car a cleaner look:
The rear end has had all but the Subaru logo taken off, and some clear/red clusters to give it a cleaner look on the rear:
There's also a titanium tipped Hiper on the back as well!
Here's a piccie of my current gauges (maybe some more later!)
A tarty touch for the interior, an alloy panel around the standard gauges:
And finally the engine bay is just polished alloy and red silicon!!
Cheers
Andy

Where did you get your foglamp covers from? I only ask because they've got a screw in them (I presume it screws to one of the original foglight mounting points). Mine came from DR Motorsport and don't have a screw, just two lips to go in the slots above the light and one to go in a slot below (that you have to make yourself).
See http://www.scoobynet.co.uk/bbs/threa...threadid=19576
Also, if you want 'a clean look' I think you need to get shot of the Morettes. They would be OK if they incorporated a sidelight a la MY01, but your sort leave the square sidelight kind of 'hanging' IMHO. I must get some clear rear clusters -- it's a pity you have to have red at all. I think clear lights all round would look great on a silver car. BTW love the rear spoiler (Prodrive WRSport I think), not keen on the ally dash surround (what you really need is machine-turned aluminium like Bentleys have).

Rich,
The spoiler is the Prodrive WRC spoiler. It's retail price is £500 + painting + fitting + VAT! Needless to say I got it a little cheaper!!
The carbon interior is from Nitosport. Have a look at http://www.nitosport.co.uk Nito's contact information.
Carl,
They are genuine STI items and have the holes as standard.
I know what you guys mean about the surround, but then I don't have a milling machine!!! I was experimenting to see what it was like.
Cheers

Hi Andy,
Great changes there m8. Looking sweet!!! That dash looks rather smart. Engine bay looks the business now. And yes the car looks better with the STI covers.
Carl,
Those covers that Andy has go on without the fog lamps. You either have the lamps or the covers. Not both. STIs do not come with the fog lamps. The covers are fitted to an adaptor so that the screw which you saw on Andy's car fits in there. So one would have to remove the fog lamps, fit the adaptors and then the covers. The adaptor has no room to fit with the lamps in place.
Cheers,
Wrexy.

Wrexy,
Thanks for your kind comments!
My standard foglamps are under those covers!
They fit fine! But I can't put them on if I have my clear foglamp protectors on!!

Very nice.
Personaly I would do the following.
Put the P1 spots back on.
Take the head lamp washers off.
Do something to the side lights, perhaps spray them silver so they blend in with small circles left unpainted to side & front.
Get a second back box to balance the drivers side.
take off the subrau badges.
or swap it for my car ??

Andy,
How did you get them on with the lamps in place? I had to take mine off to get the adaptor in there. I could not bolt the adaptor into place with the standard foglamps in place. What's the trick?

Hi Wrexy,
Which adapter are we talking about? The one which the cover screws into? The s-piece of metal is sandwiched between the bolt hole, and the fog lamp. The ones I got were from GGR but they are official Subaru items, and although I couldn't read the Japanese instructions, the piccies were very helpful!
I'll get the carmera out and take a piccie of it if that helps.

Andy,
That is the adaptor I'm talking about. If it is not too much trouble I wouldn't mind that pic. But no need to rush, whenever you can m8.
The adaptor I have needs one of the bolt holes that the lamp usually bolts on to. The bottom one. In other words it covers the one hole so the fog lamps can not go on. Unless my adaptor is different or I did not spend enough time working around it. My covers are definately like yours though.
Cheers,
Wrexy.

Andy, it looks pants mate.
You should sell it and get a max power car!
ally dash surround is pants,
carbon effect trim looks as rubbish as ever, and I agree that morettes dont go well with standard side light.
Covers are smooth, but clean effect not achieved using morettes.
aside from that. under bonnet is great, front mount pipework looks nice. Spoiler is cool and titanium piped back box is a nice touch.
sort out the girly crap and the car will be awesome.

Don't agree on the Morettes thing. Dou you mean colour code the side lights? I have seen this on a silver Scoob and it looked absolutely hilarious nasty IMO.
I think that the car looks delicious, but i did look twice at the carbon fibre too. Need to see a bigger picture before 'casting judgement'. Andy, you are a lucky Bugg@!
Cheers,
Nick

Thanks for all your comments!
I've seen some piccies of the sidelights colour coded and I thought they look terrible! But each to their own!!
Laurence, don't rub it in!!!
Adam, you wouldn't be happy until I had a 22B running about 7000bhp, and then you would still have issues!!!! I guess we can't all drive impractical cars, with TV's in them!!!
Andy, the exhaust is lot's louder!! Maybe not as loud as yours though!
Nick, next time I see you have a closer look! I think the carbon interior lifts usually dull interior!
I guess my ideas of a Veilside kit and NOS won't be taken well!!!

AJF, If you are the man with the P1, thanks again!
Nick, There is no way NOS is going anywhere near my engine (for now anyway, never say never!!) and I'm not really into those big bodykits!
Cheers
Andy
Ps - I like toasted marshmellows!
